Engineering Students Prove They Can Save Energy
March 18, 2018
Association Update
Engineering students can get an introduction to real world problem
solving with NECA. Each year, NECA sponsors a Green Energy Challenge in
conjunction with the industry research arm, the Electri International
Foundation. Students entering the competition do so with through one of the
twenty three Student Chapters that are found throughout the country. Student
projects are designed to allow students to appy real world analysis in a team
environment in order to generate energy system solutions that can be
implemented in order to provide savings to the end users that are selected by
the students.
It is a great opportunity to prove that learning pays
dividends. Contestants are invited to attend the NECA Convention to participate
and be on hand for announcement of the winner.

this year's exciting competition.
